Review
This novel is a little hard to understand if you dont understand the relationship between the main characters and the love they share. So I would definitely read the first novels in this series before I read this. You can understand everything, but you wont get the emotional connection and motives if you haven't read the previous novels.
That being said, this is a very emotional journey for Cady and Doyle. They go through quite a bit and there is plenty of drama and even knowing their history, I questioned things and decisions.
There is a great focus on the mystery and I think it was very well done and kept me guessing til the end.
